"Korea Bound", 1951
A charcoal drawing by Arthur Beaumont.
A portion of Norm's collection of memorabilia
from the ship. The collection includes valve wheels, gauges, identification
plates, photographs & other items. The small white plate marked
"210" was located outside the stateroom Norm occupied when he was onboard
the LA.
Many of these items were obtained by Norm when
the ship was being scrapped in San Pedro.
Pictures taken at Norm's home, June
2000, by the webmaster.
Thanks for permitting me to share the pictures,
Norm.
