OUR THANKS TO THEE
|
Thank thee for
thy strength possessed
To do each
daily chore.
Thank thee for
the stars above
To keep me
from the shore.
Thank
thee for
thy loving hand
That keeps my
ship on course.
Thank thee for
thy spirit sweet
That keeps me
from remorse.
Thank
thee for
a harbor calm
To which my
soul can flee,
When cares and
fears assailing
Become too
great for me.
Thank
thee for
my loved ones
Across the
tossing sea
And for thy
tender mercy
In protecting
them for me.
Thank
thee for
my country
Whose flag I
proudly wave.
And thank thee
God, for keeping it
The home of
the free and brave.
Thank
thee
God, for everything
Thou hast
bestowed on me.
Grant me but a
humble heart
To give my
thanks to thee.
